I've tried both 0.3.1 and 0.4.1 both which crash on startup. Below is the crash log for 0.4.1.

    Could you maybe put in a check for the OS version and an error message in the startup sequence? Otherwise all users get is a mysterious failure to start.

    No, that is not possible, because the binary can't even start, as it is linked against Leopard-only frameworks and uses Garbage Collection.

    However, I have updated the homepage to note that you need Leopard, which was previously only mentioned in the user manual.

    If the executable can't start at all, how about a small wrapper script which checks the OS version and throws up an alert if it's not high enough?

    I don't know enough about how Mac applications are put together to know if this is feasible, but something like this would work for a normal Unix application.
