Branch names not displayed with git 1.6.3.3

I use git from macports. The current version of the git-core package is 1.6.3.3. But since installing git 1.6.3.3 no branch names are visible in GitX.
Going back to 1.6.1.2 fixed that problem.

Hey toto, any news on this? I tried reproducing it by building 1.6.3.3 from git.git but it still worked fine. I don't use MacPorts (but Fink) so I have no easy way to exactly replicate your setup.

It still happens.
The exact version is installed (using ports) via
sudo port install git-core @1.6.3.3_0+doc+svnThe port for git has since been updated to git 1.6.4 and this fixes the problem. I would think it is some obscure build problem with that port version.
