gitx command line utility chokes on bad git

If git doesn't exist at a custom path set for GitX, GitX.app will show a nice GUI message and go back to defaults. However, the command-line gitx will choke and die will a stack trace from some scary-looking cocoa thing with NSConnection in. I would have a stack trace but this happened to me a few days ago and SOMEBODY decided to trash the GitHub issue tracker D:

This is fixed if we adopt Nathan's branch (maybe even earlier, but I'm too lazy to test this).
