History View - option to show all local branches
Reported by Christoph Schiessl | November 10th, 2008 @ 02:54 PM
Currently it's possible to show exactly one branch or all branches (local and remote). I would like to have an option to show all local branches only.
This enhancement is probably quite trivial for you to implement and I would fix it myself. However, I have no experience whatsoever with Objective-C/Cocoa so I'm asking you! I would appreciate it!

That's a very good suggestion :)
I'm planning on redesigning the branch menu, so that remote branches and tags show up as submenu's. I'll add this then, so it'll have to wait for a while though (0.6 or after that)

I added this in 6038c20d7d170dbd7ef132f3790043793ccce13b (HistoryView: Add a "Local Branches" option)

Just tried it out. It's nice - great work!
There's one more thing: Stashes are shown for "All Branches", but not for "Local Branches". I would expect to see Stashes too when selecting "Local Branches".
What do you think?

I wouldn't expect them in the local branches -- but then again, I wouldn't expect them in all branches either.
I don't really use stashes, and mostly just create a temporary branch if I need to :)
