  I would second this - gitx has some super cool features, but I'm doing a lot of mercurial at the moment, so can't use it. The GitHub guys provide a hg<->git bridge, but natiove support would be awesome - remember hg and git are friends, svn is the enemy!

  Have you looked at Murky or MacHg?

  Murky seems to just lock up for me - MacHg is pretty good, but some features seem buggy. One of the big things I like about gitx is probably really a git-only feature, being the commit screen, which I imagine uses the staging area, which hg doesn't have. MacHG redraws the commit graph for the visible commits, which is very confusing when you scroll up and down.

  I haven't tried MacHg yet, I did tried Murky and I prefer GitX, by a long shot.

  @matthew: the attic mercurial extension would allow one to use a staging shelve (even more than one, to be exact.)

  Sorry guys, I'd say we have enough open ideas for just the git-side of GitX.

  Besides, I'm no fan of mercurial and don't see the point why one would use it when it is a strict subset of git-features.

  git-svn is another story, and I hope to see some functionality in that area in the future.
