Splitting hunks in Commit view

Reported by elliottcable | December 25th, 2008 @ 02:52 AM

I ocassionally have to switch back to git add -i to have finer-grained control over my interactive committing. I'd really like to have the ability to split hunks, as I do in said command-line interface.

It'd be even better if there was some way to split up the hunks exactly as I please, though I don't know if that's possible - something I can't do in the git interface at all is deal with it when I make two separate but directly adjacent changes in the code. I have to go back, un-do one of the changes, stage the other one, and then re-do the first one. It'd be really nice if GitX could fix this.
