Can't open sshfs mounted repository

Reported by Bob Parker | May 6th, 2009 @ 09:18 PM | in 0.8

I couldn't find anything on the website referencing this, so this may not be a bug but a "feature". :-)

I have a repository on a remote server, that I have remote mounted via MacFuse sshfs as read-write.

I am able to access correctly via gitx, and CLI git with no problems.

Using GitX, however, it does not see it as a valid Git repository. Even trying to use the cli version and pipe output to GitX results in no output, although the same commands work on a local repository.

There are no error messages in the Console. The only output is:

5/6/09 12:10:02 PM GitX[24049] Dealloc of repository

I am using the latest stable version, 0.6.2, installed just today.

Running Leopard 10.5.6 with all the latest updates.

SSHFS version 1.8 (MacFUSE SSHFS 1.0.0) MacFUSE library version: FUSE 2.7.3 / MacFUSE 2.0.3
