.gitignore shows in unstaged changes

If you right-click an unstaged change and choose ignore, and there are no other files that have been ignored yet, the .gitignore file shows up as an unstaged change.

    Yeah, that's what supposed to happen. Files/patterns that are to be ignored are defined in the .gitignore file. When you click "ignore" on a file, the .gitignore file gets created and therefore shows up in the unstaged changes section.

    That website contains pretty impressive content which would be helpful and acknowledging for everyone to find out the solution to programming.
