Make temporary copies of historical files read-only

Reported by Laurence Gonsalves | November 4th, 2011 @ 09:37 PM

It's possible to open a historical version of a file within GitX. This creates a copy of the file in a temp directory and then opens it in an external tool. This is a really handy feature, but the file is writeable, which makes it easy to accidentally edit the file thinking it's the current version. It'd be nice if these temporary files were read-only so that editors could know to prevent the user from attempting to edit these files.
